In September 2018, I was asked to develop a strategic corporate culture and leadership development programme in a multi-national IT company that is comprised of ten different businesses. The multinational has an ambitious goal of doubling its earningsin five years, and become number one in the market. 2018, was year 1 of the strategy to achieve this goal.

As I began consulting with the Human Capital (HC) and top leadership of the multinational, I asked myself “How do I develop a highly impactful leadership programme whose results would be evident and linkable to the ambitious goal that the group has set for itself?” This was an important question to answer given my previous experience of having been involved in leadership programmes where the linkages were not so obvious, where I left feeling a little un-fulfilled, feeling like the programme did not fully live to my own values of adding value and making a difference.
