What are “demons?” Are they around today? How accurately does the
sensationalism (and nonsense) of Hollywood’s mythologies of demons and
devils (like in The Exorcist) represent the Bible’s truth about “demons?”
Are demons actual persons? Are they living, breathing entities who
actually inhabit our world and who want to get inside of our bodies to
possess our minds, emotions, and behaviors? Or are “demons” really
physical and mental illnesses? Could demons be pathological states of
consciousness? Or impersonal forces of evil? Or some other metaphysical
reality?
