Some years ago (2010), realizing the difficulty of selling NLP as such, we decided in Neuro- Semantics to create the Professional Tracks. Our idea was simple. We would focus on the areas where there are already professions and translate NLP to those areas, that will make the value of NLP clearer. When we do that, it will then be easier to sell the skills of NLP and Neuro- Semantics. So that began the Professional Tracks.

As we all know, very few people who know nothing about NLP wake up in the morning and go, “I wish I had a certificate in NLP!” And even when they know about NLP as a communication model, a psychology of human excellence, modeling, skill development— even then few know how it will specifically make a difference in their life or their career. After all, what can you do with an NLP Certificate? What company has “NLP Certificate” as one of the job requirements? The only job I can think that would have that would be “Trainer for an NLP Center.”
