SELF-ACTUALIZING COMPANIES AND THE 3 BOTTOM LINES

For anyone who has a business or is part of a business, the why question is the question that governs motivation, energy, and direction within that company: Why are we doing what we’re doing? Why are we engaged in this business? What “game” are we really playing as a company?

The most obvious answer and the first answer is usually—to make a living. After that, the answer may be— to create X product or Y service. But then again, “Why?” Why create that product or service? What is our larger or higher purpose?
