I remember my fist ‘solo’ ACMC benchmarking experience, in 2014 so vividly. As a benchmarker your listening skills are tested to the highest level. Listening to the dialogue, the landscape, the WFO funnel, coaching process, verbal and non-verbal language of coach and coachee. It can be overwhelming. Michael was going to benchmark my benchmarking. Something happened during this session that made it very memorable. Michael did something that I didn’t understand at the time, but which became a powerful learning for me as a trainer, much later on.
