In the Meta Place and the PCMC trainings in Bali, one of our very best trainers was coached on his goal of moving out of corporate and into the world as an entrepreneur. His goal was to slowly move from the organization he currently works for into building up his own training business. But he had a problem, “I’m not a business man.” “I’ve been an employee, so I’m not an entrepreneur.”

When we debriefed the coaching session, I suggested that the coach could have used a good dose of skepticism. She could have questioned the assumption that when one is an employee, he cannot be a business man or an entrepreneur. This seemed to surprise the coach and most of the people who were present.
