APPLYING (PATTERNS) TO SELF AS A TRAINER
The first value of Neuro-Semantics listed in our NSTT manual is to “apply to self”.
The first value of Neuro-Semantics listed in our NSTT manual is to “apply to self”. “To walk the talk, reflect our development, and lead by going first in self-application.... practice, to always be learning and improving.”
As a trainer, how often are you applying to self? Do you have a practice of regularly applying to self? Would you like one?
The practice I am going to recommend to you is quite simple and easy. All it takes is for you to show up and do the work, and it usually will take 10 minutes or less. Are you open to the challenge? Beyond the content, drills for skills, and the benchmarks there are at least 15 patterns available for practice in our NSTT manual alone. Just for a brief list we have a pattern for being “gloriously fallible”, to maintain “presence of mind under pressure”, to “release judgment”, to “see yourself as a compelling trainer”, to be “un-insultable”, to “get real with yourself” and to become highly efficient. How well have you integrated these outcomes? How un-insultable, gloriously fallible, centered and efficient are you?
