A Bit of My Story

BACK IN THE DAY

Yes, back in the day —the days when I first learned NLP. In those days when I arrive in California soon after Bandler’s murder trial (1987) and just before he stop ‘teaching’ NLP (1992). It was a unique time and I, being completely naive to what was going on, and not really caring about ‘what was going on,’ because I was of a single mind to get the most from the experience as I could. Here’s my story.

From what I could tell, the murder trial sobered him up —at least some. After all, he had just barely escaped from the possibility of a long prison term. At least that’s one thing that Eric Robbie told me. Now back in those years, Eric was Richard’s right hand man. In fact he carried on most of the trainings. That’s why his name is prominent in The Spirit of NLP and in Becoming More Ferocious as a Trainer. Later he would spend several years in a mental institute in the UK, but that’s another story.
