Bob Bodenhamer recently sent out the following link of a 18-minute presentation by Nancy Duarte on the subject of “Presentations.” When I received it, I immediately sent it out to the newly certified Neuro-Semantic Trainers because of two of her skills that I wanted them to especially notice, namely her succinctness and her use of PowerPoint slides on which Colin had just completed a presentation.

Later, I went back and, using one of our benchmark forms, benchmarked her on the 7 core skills of presentation. The 18-minute presentation is an excellent example of a skilled presenter and I thought you might like to see it and perhaps even notice the skills involved in it via our benchmarking. This is an excellent presentation and from a modeling point of view, reveals a “structure” or as Nancy Duarte says, a “shape” of a Presentaton.

Here is the link and following that is the benchmarking and scores that I did on her skills.
