While I don’t like the idea of blaming in any form or context, if there is anything to blame when it comes to human problems—it is the frame. Every problem arises from how you think about something. That is what always determines how you thereafter experience that something. This is as true at the personal and individual level as it is at the group and national level. We humans create all of our problems and we do it via the frames that we use to understand and/or interpret things.

As a trainer—you are ultimately a framer. You are a framer because you go to the true source of things, to the frames of reference that determines how you or anyone interpret things. That’s because from frames come the emotions you feel, the words that you speak, your actions, the way you relate to others, the symptoms you experience in your body, the bureaucratic policies that are set, the politics of a country, etc. So when you train, you are training people to develop better and more productive frames.
