A funny thing has been happening over the years— something that I keep forgetting, and something that some of you keep reminding me about from time to time. The funny thing (well, to me) is that many of you came into this field directly through Neuro-Semantics and not through NLP. How and why that’s funny is because by coming directly into Neuro-Semantics, you have bypassed a lot of the conflict, incongruency, bad-press, and negative branding of NLP. And there’s an increasing number of you who hardly know anything about that history and some who don’t really care about it.

So when I write something about NLP as I did in last week’s Trainers’ Reflection (#44) some of you write and ask me why I’m fooling around with NLP? And more confrontively, one asked me, “Do you really think NLP can be saved?” That’s a great question.
