CHALLENGING COLLABORATION

Three weeks ago I was in China and I was having some email exchanges with an NLP Trainer in another country, someone who wanted me to come and train with his Center in 2014. I have never met this person and had never heard of him before his first email, so I asked numerous questions and it was obvious to me that he had never “sponsored” someone to travel internationally to his country and his city and present a training. That was obvious after I sent him my contract and he had all kinds of questions about it.
His first concern was his worry that to “sponsor” me he now need to get 25 people to the training. Well, that’s what the contract says, “25 is the minimum” less than that number and I will cancel. Why would I have that requirement? Well first of all so that a sponsor can make some money! The last thing I ever want is for a sponsor to lose money. That’s not acceptable to me. And because it is not, I work with sponsors to give them all kinds of ideas about how to get more people into the training.
