Michael recently posted a CNN report on the research which backs up the NLP ‘movie rewind’ pattern termed, “new” in the report, from the Research and Recognition Project (RRP) in the form of the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) Protocol. I use the scare quotes around “new” ironically as all of us know this was first written about almost 50 years ago in the 1970’s, a fact that is laughable if it wasn’t so exasperating. I find it sad, and in many ways ridiculous, that NLP still has such bad press, but all we can do is press on. But 50 years of entrenched negativity towards NLP is not an easy thing to overcome.
