From the very beginning one of the constant themes that we have emphasized in Neuro- Semantics is that knowledge alone is not enough. You have to do. You have to turn your knowledge into performance. You have to integrate what you know into what you are doing so that your actions are fully informed by your understandings and beliefs. We have designated the difference as the know–doing gap— a gap that every single human being on this planet knows about and a gap that torments some human beings.

Now to access this gap with any single person or any particular group, all you have to do is ask a series of questions. The questioning goes like this: Are there things that you know that would improve the quality of your life that you are not living? Is there even one thing that you know about X (health, fitness, budgeting, wealth creation, getting along with others, selling, etc.) which if you acted on that knowledge would enhance the quality of your life? How big a gap do you have between what you know about X and what you practice?
