META-THINKING FOR NLP-ERS

During this past Saturday I did a Master Class for the ANLP Conference (London) from the hotel in Cairo Egypt.  It was the longest zoom meeting I’ve done to date, it was to be 6 hours, although I finished in 5.  Talk about a sore butt after sitting in front of a laptop for that many hours!  Another disadvantage of on-line so-called trainings.  I say so-called trainings because I don’t think we can really ‘train,’ certainly not effectively train from a computer screen.  We can certainly give information, inspire people to want to learn something, generate questions, etc.

Anyway, the presentation was on Meta-Thinking: Thinking about Thinking With NLP.  It is recorded and I’m sure Mohamed will let you know when it is available.  Yet in terms of anything new, there really wasn’t anything new for Neuro-Semantic Trainers.  You already know about the meta-move to rise above your thinking-and-feeling state and bring another state to it.  You already know about the meta-function (Bateson’s term) for how human self-reflexivity works.
