Some years ago, I think it was when we were doing NSTT in Hong Kong, and we were talking about the ethics of training and some of the guidelines that we have established for trainers, Colin Cox did something that was quite memorable.
Some years ago, I think it was when we were doing NSTT in Hong Kong, and we were talking about the ethics of training and some of the guidelines that we have established for trainers, Colin Cox did something that was quite memorable. Holding up the index and middle fingers, which form a V shape, he pointed at his eyes and then aimed the V at everyone in the audience, he said, “We’re watching you!” Actually, he used that in several of the stories he told to indicate “my eyes to your eyes.” His point was that, as a community— the leadership team of each Institute and the leadership team made up of representatives from all of the Institutes— we are watching you.
