At the NLP Leadership Summit this year, there was a conversation group that focused on, How do you teach the Meta-Model? What new ideas can we generate for teaching the Meta- Model? I was not a part of that group as I was involved in the Global Body group. So when they reported back to the plenary group, they spoke about collecting and publishing (and giving credit for) all of the ideas that came in and will come in. They have put out a call for papers that people can submit. I have written up such a paper and would like to add more to it— ideas within the Neuro-Semantic community that I have not included.

Teaching the Meta-Model ought to be the most foundational thing any and all of us do. It is the most essential model of NLP, it is the source model for the patterns of NLP, it is the essential factor in learning to become a professional communicator, and it is the model that the Benchmarking Model is based on.
