THE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL NON-ESSENTIALS – OF TRAINING

Ok, so you know the content of the material you’re teaching. You know the 4MAT model, you know the logistics—timings, training sequence, etc.—you know how to deal with curveball questions and how to manage your state, but how much attention do you pay to the seemingly insignificant details?
I have a book I came across many years ago called The Absolutely Critical Non-Essentials by dentist Dr Paddi Lund. It's a fantastic little book about running a business, the principles of which I keep in mind about anything—inside and outside of business. The gist of it is to pay attention to the details that have nothing to do with getting your job done. So, for example it's not essential that your training manual be in colour, but it adds something if it is. There's no set formula, but as a Neuro-Semantics trainer, think outside of the box.
