THE HEART OF SELLING
If selling is helping a person make a really smart decision that will fulfill one’s hopes and dreams (the closing statement of the last post #66), then when you sell, you help people make really smart decisions.
If selling is helping a person make a really smart decision that will fulfill one’s hopes and dreams (the closing statement of the last post #66), then when you sell, you help people make really smart decisions. Now don’t you want to do that? Wouldn’t that actually be an honor to do that? When you realize that selling is just a form of communication that presents something that could potentially enrich the lives of people, it no longer is contaminated with all of the old thoughts about selling.
Yet if you really want to take that on and integrate it into yourself, your person, you will probably need to go through the permission process. And the good news is that you already know how to do that. Go inside and say the words, “I give myself permission to sell my trainings and coaching program because I am simply offering people an opportunity for enhancing the quality of their life.” Do that and see what happens. Any objections? If so, treat the object as a hidden frame and simply reframe it. You also already know how to do that.
