When you consider the idea of revisiting NSTT, you are trying on the idea of giving yourself to a second-take of both the content and the experience of presentation skills. This is important for a number of reasons. The first one is because all skills need constant refreshing, otherwise your skills can become stale. Skills can also slowly shift away from the purity of the actual skill. Many trainers who have revisited have commented that they did not even have an idea of how their skills had been shifting. Then, once recognized, they were excited to rejuvenate them and restore their freshness.

A second reason is to refresh the right way to run the NLP and Neuro-Semantic patterns. A few years ago, Steve Andreas identified 20 some videos of NLP Trainers running the Swish Pattern and the Movie Rewind pattern. He found that 90% of the videos had serious mistakes. He also found that some of the trainers were not only running the patterns wrong, they were also doing harm with how they were running them. I often find this to a lesser degrees when traveling around and seeing Neuro-Semantics trainers.
