WHEN YOU WRITE

We are having more and more trainers writing articles on the Trainers egroup (Framers) and also on the coaches egroup (Morpheus). That’s great because we need more and more trainers who are writing about Neuro-Semantics. And writing articles is an excellent way to get started in transferring your ideas and experiences to paper. In view of that, here are some helpful hints to help you when you write.
When you write, be sure that your writing sounds like you! Given that you are writing an article to other Neuro-Semanticists, make sure that it sounds like how you talk. Don’t aim to write writing— do that and it will sound stiff and rigid, then it will not be easy to read. You are not writing a Master Thesis or an article for an Academic Journal. You are writing to your fellow colleagues— Neuro-Semantic Trainers. So adopt a style that is conversational. One way to make it conversational is to think about a specific fellow trainer and write to that person. Another way is to read your article aloud to someone and ask them, “Does that sound like how I talk?” If not, revise until they say yes.
