As each Institute is represented on the leadership team, they help all of us understand what’s going on, questions that people have, concerns, as well as hopes and dreams. A couple of the members have asked that I speak to the question of “why renew your license?”

I renewed my NLP License for many years because I wanted to be a part of a community larger than myself. I also wanted to keep my license current so that I could train and certify people. Personally, I never questioned it because it was one of several professional license that I had attained — and knowing that all of the work, time and money which I invested in it, why would I just let that go? And that was in the days when the license fee was really expensive compared to what it is in Neuro-Semantics. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, the NLP License that I had with Bandler was $200 per person for each person certified. A small group of 10 people would cost $2,000. My first group was 22 people, “$4,400. How did I pay for that? I simply added $200 to each person’s fee for the certification.
