I've been watching a few training videos lately and have noticed that's some trainers/instructors will either teach too broad or too narrow for their audience. What do I mean by this? Well, they'll either skim over the subject and not give enough information to allow their students to fully understand or be able to utilise what they're talking about, which tends to under-deliver on their promise; or they will take one aspect and go into great depth which has the same effect of students not being able to utilise what they are trying to get across. In this second case as well, it can be rather overwhelming with too much information.

So how does this relate to us teaching Neuro-Semantics? Key for us as trainers is that people can actually apply the skills at the end of the training; certainly, Practitioner and Master Practitioner are competency-based courses. Obviously, there will be different levels of competency for a Practitioner than a Master Practitioner so thinking about your students (it's all about them after all) will give you clues as to how broad or how narrow the focus of the training should be.
