COLLABORATION EXCELLENCE

One of the things that happened at the NLP Conference in London this year was a Panel on Collaboration. At the end of 2011 when Shelle Rose Charvet and myself launched the book, Innovations in NLP, Volume I lots of people asked us how in the world we got 24 NLP trainers to work together in a collaborative way so that within a 5 month period, they wrote the 17 chapters that makes up that book?
There was even a group of people who asked us about that. And there was a reason for that— they had been struggling for three years to write a collaboration book of 11 people and they still could not get everybody together to do so! And they had people arguing and fussing and demanding to do it this way or that way or else they would pull out. Sounds typical of NLP people, right? So the group who were responsible for editing the book wondered how in the world we were able to do what we did.
