Discovering NLP as a young physicist opened up a whole new world for me. Attending my first NLP seminar changed my life. I spent years studying mathematical structures in physics. And then in 1982, I discovered a discipline that studies the “structure of subjective experience.” How has discovering NLP and Neuro-Semantics affected you?

NLP isn’t my life’s focus, but one discipline I use when modeling behavior. It also contributes to my well-being, both mental and physical. I use NLP as a system that exceeds the sum of its parts. In 2022, when I was 75, I used NLP techniques to prepare for and recover from open-heart surgery. Within 6 months, I was back to practicing and teaching Tae Kwon Do. Yet, for many people, NLP has issues.
