DO YOU MANAGE YOUR BIASED INTENTIONS?
When you set an intention for yourself or when you train people in the Intentionality pattern— you are actually doing multiple things at the same time.
When you set an intention for yourself or when you train people in the Intentionality pattern— you are actually doing multiple things at the same time. First and foremost, you are enabling yourself and others to rise above the world of attention—the world of small children and animals. Instead of being driven and motivated by attentions and whoever or whatever grabs your attention, you are stepping up to the human realm of intentionality. Now as never before a person can set goals and live life on purpose. Pretty powerful, wouldn’t you say?
But that’s not all. Intention also orients a person to the future and to the kind of future that you want to create. It enables you to be an architect of a bright future. Now to elicit intention, you ask the “Why is X important to you?” question. And as you do, you are not only eliciting the person’s values but also that person’s hierarchy of values.
