ETHICS AND BUSINESS TACTICS
Recently I have used the word “fraud” about the behavior of a fellow trainer and a former friend.
Recently I have used the word “fraud” about the behavior of a fellow trainer and a former friend. I do not do that lightly nor without extensive reflection and prayer. It is a harsh word. It speaks about something unethical and unprofessional. Some have written to ask me what it means that I’ve used it, and how I am using it. Here is my answer.
When we established Neuro-Semantics we set being honest and truthful as essential to our ethical standards. From the beginning we set integrity, congruence, and doing right by others, giving credit, acknowledging sources, etc. as our values. Our vision was to live these values. The back side of this mean that we stand against lying, deceiving, and misrepresenting. We put these in the license as what we promise to each other that we will not do. In this way we have said to each other that we would hold each accountable to live up to these values. The opposite is to misled and to engage in fraudulent behaviors.
