IT ALL STARTS WITH ENGAGEMENT

How engaging are you as a Trainer? Are you mildly engaging or very engaging? How do you know if you are as engaging as you think you are? Have you even considered whether you are or are not an engaging trainer?

I’m not sure how you think of trainings. For me being engaging is totally necessary. Think about what it would be like to be un-engaging. This would be where you audience takes no notice of you. Where you are being ignored. Where you are not being paid attention to in anyway. Would that be disappointing for you?

One of the key questions that drives me think of how to engage an audience is to ask myself the simple yet powerful question: “What must I do to engage them quickly?” Do you use a question like that to create an engaging entrance? Do you think in terms of immediate engagement with your participants? If not, you likely leave it to chance whether your audience connects with you or not.
