No, that’s not a typo in the title. But it needs explanation as it’s a linguistic ambiguity, isn’t it? It’s also a meta-state, isn’t it? You knew that though, didn’t you? And I’m using a lot of negative tag questions, aren’t I? But then you knew that too, didn’t you? Well, you should (modal operator of necessity).
Of course, you are familiar with all of these distinctions, after all, you’re a trainer aren’t you? (not just a negative tag, but rhetorical too; and a mind read… and I’m sure you can find more distinctions). Ok, I’ll stop the linguistic unpacking now, it could go on forever! The point I’m trying to make is that this is all basic stuff that we learned on Practitioner course. Now that you’re a trainer, this ought to be second nature to you— how else do you expect to teach it?
