I wonder if you have been able to ignore the final season of the TV Series “The Game of Thrones”? The characters in the series, though fictional, are based on historical figures with liberal doses of exaggerations, making them larger than life. The king or queen who sits on the Iron Throne rules the Seven Kingdoms.

One of the compelling contenders to the Iron Throne is Queen Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, Lady of Dragonstone, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons.

She calls herself the Breaker of Chains, having freed the slave population of Yunkai and Mereen. Interestingly enough, her claim to the Iron Throne blindsided her to the “chains” that she placed on people as she demanded that they “bend their knee” to her. In one of the episodes, after having defeated the Lannister-Tarly army in a battle, she proceeded to have her dragon burn the Lords of House Tarly alive because they refused to “bend their knee.”
