PROMISE ONLY WHAT YOU CAN DELIVER

Today Geraldine showed me a promotional piece that’s circulating in the Philippines. An NLP Trainer is announcing that he has a way to strengthen one’s immune system and make one invulnerable to the covid-19 cornoavirus. Upon seeing the title— “Increase Immunity Using NLP vs. Covid-19,” I immediately knew that whatever that trainer was promoting he was over-promising and promising what he could not deliver.

“How to Make our Subconscious to Cooperate to Strengthen Our Immune System Against COVID19 so You can Save Lives.” “John Grinder taught us an intriguing technique to make your subconscious to cooperate to strengthen the immune system against diseases.”

All of that is over-promising and over-selling. No one, not even Grinder, can deliver on that! The human body, and especially the human immune system, is far too complex for some NLP pattern to unconditionally make such promises. And with all of the studies on the immune system, we still do not know enough about how it works, how it is influenced by thoughts, how thoughts influence it to create the 90+ auto-immune system diseases, etc.
