In my last Reflection, I spoke about how on Day 1 of Unleashing Creative Problem Solving we looked at the nature of problems; how to unpack them and define what exactly they are, and what specifically is required to solve them. So after the Well-Formed Outcome conversation that we many of us know from Meta-Coaching, Day 1 also covered the Well-Formed Problem conversation. I also mentioned the fact that the Well-Formed conversation model is actually a precision model in itself, so on Day 2 we apply this precision model to solutions in the Well-Formed Solution conversation. But you can’t have the conversation until you understand the nature and process of creativity.

Creative problem solving naturally involves creative solutions so the structure and process of creativity are really delved into on Day 2. There’s a Creativity Checklist to help identify where participants currently are and no less than 12 components of creativity are explored. After this process the Meta-Stating Creativity pattern lets each person create and enhance their personal creative mind-set.
