You have heard Michael, Colin and perhaps some of the Master Trainers say this, “Trainings is always about your audience, is never about you.” But what does this really mean? How can this be true for a Trainer?

It means many things. It means the information and distinctions you are offering are so important for them, it is so good for your audience. So the message is so important, it is as important as themselves and you are just the "media". So being the media it is also a very important role. Without you, the information and the message wouldn't be available for the people.

But then the question is, “If you as the trainer, as the media are that important, how does this frame apply?” Well, basically depends on where you put your focus—on yourself or in your audience.
