If there’s anything that most coaches are concerned about it is how to remember critical facts which the client presents. And no wonder—if you can’t remember what the person says, how can you stay focused or continue the conversation? Obviously, you have stay with your client and remember what is said and has been said. So what can a coach do? Here are three things that you can do.
1) Take notes: But what notes? How many notes? Full sentences, key words, shorthand notes?
2) Repeat what the client says so as to help you remember what is said.
3) Expand your short-term memory so that you can hold more in mind of what is said.
