THE ACPF EXPERIMENT
Nearly a year ago several of us had an idea.
So What Happened?
Nearly a year ago several of us had an idea. We asked, “What if we take the ACMC training and repackage it so that it focuses entirely on managers and for managers?” “Well to do that,” I said would require taking out all of the stuff that’s uniquely designed for those who want to become professional coaches—information and skills they need to run a private coaching practice.” To that Bruneau Woomed and Joyce Clever in Mauritius said, “Well let’s see what will happen if we do that.” So we decided to go for it. And so we did.
In the meantime in Mauritius, Bruneau and Joyce ran Modules I and II of the Meta-Coaching System. From that 33 people signed up for the experiment that we titled ACPF. And as of Saturday, we completed the experimental training. Now originally we wanted all of the people to be from organizations and ideally, to be managers. But as others heard about the experiment and wanted to come, so we ended up with a mixed group; most being managers and/or people working in corporates and others who wanted to become a professional coach.
