If you ever wonder about our brand, what it is and what it means, the answer is simple: Our brand is Neuro-Semantics.

Neuro-Semantics as a hyphenated term defines an upgrade of NLP because Neuro-Semantics came out of the Neuro-Linguistic Programming model and history. We are a community in the field of NLP, in fact, as far as I can tell, we are the only international community. Of the other “kinds” of NLP, they are built around a person, Bandler, Grinder, James, etc. and they are not communities as much as they are businesses. By way of contrast, what we are doing in Neuro- Semantics is creating a true association of people voluntarily doing the upgraded version of NLP.

Neuro-Semantics is an upgraded version of NLP because we started in 1996 with that as our vision—“to take NLP to a higher level professionally and ethically.” What Bob and I meant by that was that we would act professionally with each other—giving credit to sources, acknowledging those who we learned from, speaking openly of their positive traits, operating from abundance so that we cooperate and even collaborate rather than compete against others in our field.
