When we talk about the ethics of coaching we almost always focus in on how to treat your client ethically. In your ACMC manual and on Day 8 of Coaching Mastery, we talk about the ethical rules that governments typical expect of professional people. Most of these “rules” are obvious and would be natural for anyone who operates from the basic premise of “be respectful and caring.” Namely, do not physically assault your clients, do not engage in sexual relationships with them, be transparent in your prices, and in your practice of invoicing and collecting fees, etc. It is certainly not rocket science.
