This year, one of the key points of focus I have had, is researching the direction that training and development is taking, and what major advancements there are in technology, which will govern how training will be delivered in the next 10 years.

This year, one of the key points of focus I have had, is researching the direction that training and development is taking, and what major advancements there are in technology, which will govern how training will be delivered in the next 10 years. I’ve been able to attend presentations given by speakers whose career, is solely focused on advising business on the advancements in technology and how that will affect radical change in how they do business in the near future. Training and development will not be able to avoid having to adapt to these advancements. And for those trainers in business, who choose to ignore embracing the changes, will be left behind like an archaic relic or extinct training dinosaur.

Neuro-Semantic training has been slow to take up the advancements in technology. Certainly, for most of us, we have moved away from the blackboard and chalk presentations and away from the Over Head Projector (OHP). Which was quite a step ahead of the traditional blackboard and chalk dust of our grandparents. However the uptake of what’s possible for NS Trainers hasn’t been fully grasped by the large majority of trainers.
