If teaching content information, especially the content information of NLP and for that matter, Neuro-Semantics, is becoming less and less sellable (and it is), then here is the idea— we need to move beyond the first outcome of providing information to the outcome-after-that-outcome. And what is that meta-outcome? Giving people an experience that is implied inside of the information, especially a transformational experience.

If the topic is high quality communication skills or the coaching skills, then it is one thing to explicitly communicate that information. It is an entirely different thing to set up transformative communication experiences. In the first case, those attending your training would intellectually and academically “learn” the information. Whether they know how to apply it in the various contexts of their lives, well, that’s another matter. So is the question of whether they know how to self-apply to become really effective communicators with themselves. In the first instance, people come as students and they will want a classroom, tables, all sorts of learning aids, etc. In the second instance, people come as experiencers on an adventure of discovery and change.
