UNDERSTANDING RESILIENCE WHEN CHANGE BRING CHALLENGES
people who are mentally and emotionally healthy are resilient.
people who are mentally and emotionally healthy are resilient. They “run their own brains” and do not allow external circumstances to determine their attitude. They are in charge of their own outlooks so that no matter what happens—emotionally, financially, workwise, in health, etc., they know how to turn upsets into assets. They don’t victimize themselves and use their highest executive powers to provide self-leadership and self-management— they are the CEO of their own company, their life.
Change is constant, inevitable, can be unpredictable, and sometimes can be painful and disruptive. The global COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented changes difficult to understand, forecast, manage, and adapt. The governments, organizations, and people worldwide are trying to understand how to function under this new threat; consequently, previous paradigms and assumptions in all aspects of life are being challenged. Changing our thinking to new ways of moving forward can be difficult, but is essential for individual self-actualization growth and societal evolution. Denial and resistance to change are expected; however, overcoming it with confidence will help individuals and organizations adapt and re-design personal and business approaches.
