How are you doing in terms of selling your trainings?

How are you doing in terms of selling your trainings? This is perhaps the most challenging part of running public trainings. I discovered that a long time ago. I began running public trainings in 1978, long before I discovered NLP. During the 1980s I ran public trainings on Emotional Mastery (that led to and promoted my first book, Emotions: Sometimes I Have Them/ Sometimes They Have Me). Later I began doing Assertive Communication Skills. For that I wrote the little booklet, Speak Up, Speak Clear, Speak Kind (1987). Then in 1990s I began running NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Trainers. I did that in a small town of 40,000 people.

There are many ways to promote public trainings. Most of them require that you get out into the public and let people know who you are and what you are offering. I mainly did that by conducting free seminars and presentations. I did that with the hospitals, the Chamber of Commerce, various Clubs, and so on.
