What has always been at the heart of my modus operandi, namely work with others in collaborative projects, seems to be a major challenge, something very difficult, unpleasant, and hard for others. Bob and I collaborated in writing nine books, I collaborated with several other people in writing numerous other books. I collaborated with Bob in founding Neuro-Semantics, I collaborated with Michelle Duval in creating Meta-Coaching, and on and on it goes. And why?

I collaborate because I deeply believe that in collaboration we can do so much more than alone or apart. That is now (and has been since 1996) our essential theme in Neuro-Semantics. Yet in collaborating, I also believe that getting something done— creating something valuable— is most important than who gets the credit or who gets to do it his or her way. There is a book that will be published any time— The Collaborative Leader. I started the collaboration with Shelley Rose Charvey and we brought Ian McDermott into it; then due to a health crisis, Shelley stepped out.
