USING STORIES AND EXAMPLES IN YOUR TRAININGS

In my job as a Trainer I receive feedback every time I am at the front of a new group. Many of the feedback is about the content, many about the structure of my trainings and many is about my style. As you know, there is feedback about what worked well and there’s also feedback about what to improve. In addition to these, some times I receive some feedback about the differences my audience finds between me and some other trainers. Fortunately the kind of feedback I receive in this sense has been always good.
So, few weeks ago I decided to ask more about this particular feedback, and the kind of questions where designed to find out more specifics about this differences. There was this guy who told me the follow: “David, I really like your style of presenting and training. I have been participating in different trainings, some from NS and definitely, your style is the best I have found”.
Then I asked him: “Thank you so much for the feedback. Please tell me what specific is what you like about my style? What is what I do different from other trainers?”
