Do you think you are a good trainer?

Do you think you are a good trainer? Do you think that you are above average when it comes to training and/or presenting? Do you think you are highly knowledgeable about NLP and Neuro- Semantics, or about some particular model? If so, good. Now go out and test it. Do a training and let someone pass out evaluation forms on how you did, how people experienced you, etc. When the results come in— Do others hold that same evaluation about you as you do?

I met a trainer at the NLP Conference in London. We were talking in the social hall and then the time came for the workshops, and I asked him, “Which one are you going to?” “I don’t go to the workshops, I’m here to network.” “Oh really!” I commented. “I’m going to go hear Joe Cheal right now.” “Well, I know that already,” he commented. I responded, “You could possibly pick up some tips or learn a few new distinctions.” “No, I know all of that.” “Well, I will see you later, I’m always fascinated by new twists on old themes and Joe is really good about those creative pieces.”
