It is about goals, about dreams, about hopes, about development and progress, it is about achieving. It is not about the past. So how do we answer the question posed in the title? As a Meta-Coach, is there ever a time when it is appropriate to shift from focusing on the present situation and on future outcomes of your client and spend time exploring your client’s past? If so when? And if so, how?
