Have you experienced presenting in front of a large audience and being in your element? Just having the right level of nervousness and excitement, calmness and joy. How do you know if you’re in the flow? What does it feel like to be in that state for you?

Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi defines flow as that state of laser-beam focus and engagement on an activity that there’s a sense of effortlessness and enjoyment. When one is in this state, one loses track of time and the world goes away. There’s nothing else than the task at hand in one’s attention for that moment. Would you want that for yourself as you present in front of an audience?
