In Neuro-Semantics one of the cornerstones is congruency and ”apply to self”, which has resonated very well with me since I first came in contact with the field. Since this is a Trainer Reflection I am going to reflect on what congruency means to me personally and professionally and these are some of the points I find to be most important.

FEEDBACK

We put a lot of emphasis on sensory feedback and benchmarking, which is awesome as a tool for professional development. It’s easy to get used to the high quality feedback from peers and value that style of feedback above other styles. Most of the feedback you get from other people will however not be presented in that way, as most people use emotional references, judgments, and identification when they tell you what they think of your work, behaviors and communication style. So, are you open to feedback however it’s presented to you?
