I have met many, many, trainers and I have heard a number of them who demand they be respected in the classroom. Trainers who want to be respected by their students and to have them demonstrate this respect in and out of the training environment.

So what defines whether a person is to be respected? What is it exactly that determines if a Trainer is worthy of being respected by their students? There are many variations of interpretations across cultures and religions, across social groupings which have formed hierarchal tiers of status. What is the measure of whether a trainer deserves respected?
