MAKING THE BEST OF ONLINE TRAININGS

In a world experiencing a global health pandemic, trainers are challenged to find creative ways to adapt to a changing learning environment. I have delivered and attended, more online training during the past two years than I ever imagined. Some Trainers have exceled in this area and others, like me, had to work hard at making this transition. When I deliver in-person training, I can go on for 8 hours and still feel highly energized at the end of the day. After delivering a 4 hour online training I feel physically and emotionally exhausted. I am guessing it’s because it takes more energy to read the body language and emotional expressions of the audience from a flat screen and it takes more effort to read, connect and engage with the audience. Anyone else feels the same?
