I was inspired by Sandra’s article last month on the diverse skills involved in running your own training business, especially when it comes to offering your services to the corporate sector. As an independent self-employed trainer, the article got me thinking of the skills that I already exceled in and those that needed development. While I am still working on and struggling with the Passion Maker and Brand Maker skills, I realized that I had a big area of strength in the Networker skills. That’s when the idea struck me to take a meta-position to my Networker role and model it, which is the focus of this article

Business networking is positively associated with salary growth, number of promotions, perceived career success, job satisfaction, and of course, business development and growth.
